Every ORNEXA creation is hand-finished with our proprietary protective sealant and 18K gold plating to resist tarnishing and daily oxidation. With thoughtful care, your pieces will retain their warm glow for years to come.
Waterproof Dailywear
Our dailywear chains, bangles, and rings are engineered for real life. You can wear them during hand-washing, light workouts, and brief water contact without fear of green skin or discoloration.
Perfume & Chemicals
Always apply perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays before putting on your jewellery. Strong alcohols and chemical solvents can dull gemstone facets and weaken protective gold coatings over time.
Gentle Cleaning
Wipe your pieces gently with a soft microfibre cloth after wearing. For deeper cleaning, use lukewarm water and mild soap. Never use abrasive metal cleaners or ultrasonic machines on kemp stones.
Velvet Pouch Storage
Store each piece individually in your complimentary ORNEXA velvet box or ziplock pouch in a cool, dry place. Storing pieces separately prevents chains from tangling and stones from scratching.
Special Care for South Indian Temple & Kemp Jewellery
Our antique matte temple collections feature authentic ruby-pink kemp stones and hydro pearls that require mindful preservation:
- ◆Do not submerge temple haarams or kemp jhumkas in water, as moisture can affect stone settings.
- ◆Keep pearls away from chlorinated pools and direct sunlight for prolonged durations.
- ◆After bridal or festive occasions, allow the piece to air out for 15 minutes before enclosing in velvet packaging.
